Homework 22
- New video due on Friday, Feb. 28 at midnight (strictly speaking, this is actually Saturday morning).
- Make it viral this weekend.
- In-class essay on Weds., March 5.
- Finish BabyDoll & Tiger Tail if you haven’t already.
- Read The Practice of Love
(as you read “The Practice of Love,” remember that one does not read philosophical text the same way one reads fiction. Try to determine the main argument of each paragraph. I would suggest that you even underline whatever sentence you think encapsulates the meaning of each paragraph, and then reread all the underlined sentences in a row once you’ve gone through the whole piece.)

I found ” the practice of love” to be detailed and possibly helpful to some people. however i found it’s main ideas to depend on a human being spending his life dedicating him/herself to becoming a perfect human being. He said that you needed to be disciplined, patient, wise, faithful and his descriptions of what one need to accomplish in order to be “practiced” at the art of love were fairly unrealistic in most human beings. Overall I think it had the right idea but could have been more dedicated to encouraging people rather making the goal seem very far away.
